<div>Pries is looking for a Quality Control Technician on 1st shift!
The hours are 6am-2pm with some overtime required as needed: Monday-Friday with overtime depending on production. Starting between $18-24 depending on experience! Duties include:<ul><li>
Interpret and apply Aluminum Association Standard Tolerances or approved tolerances</li><li>
Use AutoCAD and iNOEX software to create profile measurement inspection plans for use in extrusion</li><li>
Select and utilize appropriate measuring devices to determine product conformance</li><li>
Conduct and/or manage calibration of all handheld measuring instruments, other measuring equipment and temperature related equipment which affects or determines product conformance</li><li>
Work with Team Leaders to check material being produced for conformity to customer specifications and finish requirements</li><li>
Understanding and interpret customer requirements and specifications based on the end use of product
</li><li>Identify nonconformities</li><li>
Analyze and approve first article inspections</li><li>
Conduct and prepare documentation for PPAP, CPK and GR&amp;R per customer request</li><li>
Perform and record mechanical properties testing in accordance with Aluminum Association requirements using pull test equipment and a variety of hardness testing equipment</li><li>
Review and disposition internal scrap and orders on hold</li><li>
Work with customers to respond to and resolve complaints in a timely manner</li><li>
Work with Team Leaders and managers to investigate root cause, determine and implement corrective action for customer complaints and internal scrap issues</li><li>
Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department.</li><li>
