Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency</li><li>Schedule appointments accurately using the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system- Elation Health run on macOS</li><li>Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately</li><li>Manage medical records, perform electronic filing, data entry, and maintain and review documentation for accuracy and completeness</li><li>Support office operations by reviewing documentation and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and health information management</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist</li><li>Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Elation Health run on macOS</li><li>Familiarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), billing procedures, insurance verification, and Medicare processes including medication prior authorization</li><li>Excellent computer skills including proficiency on the macOS operating system and typing skills (10-key typing preferred)</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and courteously</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology related to various specialties including medications</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude</li></ul>Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare experiences!
