Sales Order Fulfillment<ul><li>Process customer sales orders with purchasing of materials and supplies from approved vendors and update sales on delivery timelines.</li><li>Communicate with sales, delivery, and accounting to ensure smooth order flow.</li></ul>Inventory Management<ul><li>Track inventory levels and reorder products to maintain adequate stock.</li><li>Track fast-/slow-moving materials to support purchasing decisions.</li><li>Communicate with sales, delivery, and accounting to ensure smooth order flow.</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Logistics Coordination<ul><li>Schedule inbound shipments and ensure materials are received and stocked correctly.</li><li>Handle backorders, substitutions, or damaged material claims.</li></ul>Customer Relationship Management<ul><li>Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries from contractors and builders.</li><li>Provide accurate quotes, product recommendations, and order follow-up.</li></ul>Order Processing &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Input and manage sales orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, materials, and delivery timelines.</li><li>Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment.</li></ul>Product Knowledge &amp; Upselling<ul><li>Maintain a solid understanding of lumber, decking, roofing, siding, and related building materials to advise customers and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.</li></ul>Collaboration with Outside Sales<ul><li>Support outside sales representatives by preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining clear communication to ensure smooth handoffs between departments.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Vendor Interaction<ul><li>Monitor stock levels, communicate with suppliers for availability or special orders, and proactively manage backorders or substitutions to keep customers informed.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourWork Location: In person
