This is a full time 37.5 hours role. Set within picturesque landscaped gardens in Cheadle, Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a range of comprehensive inpatient mental health services for young people and adults. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. <ul><li>Lead clinical care for patients, including psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, ward rounds, and Responsible Clinician duties under the Mental Health Act.</li><li>Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care in a therapeutic environment.</li><li>Build and maintain effective relationships with referring Trusts, community teams, families, and external stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to service development through clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Participate in the on-call rota and commit to continuous professional development, including meeting GMC Revalidation requirements.</li></ul> You can find additional information in the attached job description.
