Overview:

The Distribution Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operational execution, culture, safety, and quality of our newly opened distribution center. . As the DC Manager, your focus is on safety, continuous improvement, team building, communication, strategic thinking, and financial acumen. In this position, your responsibility includes the development of a &ldquo;safety first&rdquo; culture by creating awareness, developing training, and enforcing accountability.</div>

Leadership Responsibilities</p>
Developing direct and indirect reports <ul><li>- &hellip;. Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluation, on-going employee feedback. disciplinary action</li><li>
Partnering with HR leader to lead the development of managers, supervisors, and shop floor leads.</li><li>
Ensuring the execution and compliance to company policies&hellip;safety, OSHA, absenteeism,</li><li>
Provide on-going employee feedback &amp; quarterly review and documentation</li><li>
Improve employee retention and engagement at all levels</li><li>
Working with customers to create solutions that drive customer satisfaction.</li></ul><div></div><p><br>
Operational Responsibilities</p><ul><li>
Day-to-Day leadership of all facets of the facility</li><li>
Manage facility&rsquo;s KPI tracking and improvement.</li><li>
Manage Inbound and Outbound flow.</li><li>
Flex teams across functional areas.</li><li>
Drive the four initiatives to a world-class level&middot;</li><li>
 Safety Program &ndash; audits, housekeeping, 5S</li><li>
Outbound Quality</li><li>
Inbound Quality</li><li>
Inventory Management</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibilities and requirements of the job.&middot;

Education, Licenses, and Certifications</b></div><div>
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business or related field preferred or equivalent work</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Years of Experience and Knowledge</b></div><div>
Five (5) years or more in logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or industry related field</div><div>
Five (5) years or more managerial/supervisory experience managing/leading direct experience</div><p></p><div><b><br>
Skills and Abilities</b></div><div>
Intermediate level Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint skills</div><div>
Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills</div><div>
Strong oral and written communications skills</div><div>
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors, and executive leadership team.)</div><div>
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills</div><div>
Basic Proficiency bi-Lingual capabilities in Spanish</div><p></p><div><b><br>
