About Pro-TechTPro-TechT is an integrated life-safety, AV, and smart technology contractor serving residential, commercial, and specialty markets. We focus on quality craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term customer relationships &mdash; not lowest-bid race-to-the-bottom installs.We are expanding our Fire Division and seeking a highly skilled NICET III or IV / RME-G who can both design systems and serve as a technical resource during client/project development.What This Role DoesThis position blends technical fire system design with relationship-based sales support:Technical Responsibilities<ul><li>Create and sign fire sprinkler system design drawings in compliance with NFPA, state, and local code</li><li>Perform hydraulic calculations</li><li>Interpret construction plans &amp; specifications</li><li>Prepare submittal packages and coordinate with inspectors, GCs, and AHJs</li><li>Oversee system layout, design adjustments, and commissioning support</li><li>Serve as the Authority under RME-G license for the division</li></ul>Inside &amp; Outside Sales Responsibilities<ul><li>Attend builder/GC walkthroughs and project scoping meetings</li><li>Support proposals by providing accurate material &amp; labor estimates</li><li>Act as the technical expert during client discussions</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with:</li><li>General Contractors</li><li>Home Builders</li><li>Commercial Facility Owners</li><li>Developers &amp; Project Managers</li><li>Assist in identifying new install/service contract opportunities</li><li>Represent Pro-TechT at occasional networking or trade events</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>NICET Level III or IV in Water-Based Systems required</li><li>Texas RME-G license required (or ability to obtain/transfer)</li><li>Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 72, 25, and applicable state/local codes</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly with both field techs and project stakeholders</li><li>Comfort working on both commercial and residential projects</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Must be comfortable interfacing with builders and customers &mdash; this is not a sit-in-the-office-only role</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Base Salary + Bonus / Performance Incentives</li><li>Expected range: $85,000 &ndash; $155,000+ depending on experience &amp; license structure</li><li>Health benefits &amp; PTO</li></ul>Why Join Pro-TechT<ul><li>You will help build and shape the Fire Division, not just be another cog.</li><li>Supportive leadership that respects technical expertise.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $155,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
