As an AWI-certified member, we pride ourselves on precision craftsmanship and a supportive, hands-on team environment.Position Overview:We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented entry-level candidates to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, individuals with internship or co-op experience, or anyone eager to start a career in the architectural millwork and custom cabinetry industry. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship while supporting our Project Managers in delivering high-quality projects from start to finish.No extensive experience is required &mdash; we value enthusiasm, a strong willingness to learn, and a good attitude!Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of millwork and custom cabinetry projects (submittals, approvals, scheduling, and documentation).</li><li>Help review shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and project files.</li><li>Assist in maintaining project schedules and tracking budgets.</li><li>Coordinate with internal teams (drafting, production, installation) as well as architects, contractors, and vendors.</li><li>Participate in site visits, job meetings, and project closeouts.</li><li>Learn material procurement, quality standards, and AWI guidelines.</li><li>Provide administrative support to keep projects organized and on track.</li></ul>Qualifications (Entry-Level Focus):<ul><li>0&ndash;2 years of related experience (internships, co-op, or any construction/administrative background welcome).</li><li>Recent graduates with a degree (or pursuing) in Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Engineering, or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply.</li><li>Basic understanding of construction or woodworking is a plus, but not required &mdash; we will provide training.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
