Using modern CNC technology, we have continued to grow by providing quality parts, on time, as promised.PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE:The Swiss CNC setup machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of our Citizen Swiss turning centers. We primarily run short- to medium-run production lots, so this role involves frequent setups, troubleshooting, and maintaining process stability. This is a 2nd-shift position with a 10% shift premium.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: &middot; Setup of machine and bar feeder using tooling sheets&middot; Produce 1st piece for approval&middot; Inspect parts to detect out-of-tolerance conditions during production&middot; Monitor the need to change/index tooling or adjust feeds/speeds&middot; Troubleshoot machining or quality issues as they arise&middot; All other duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:&middot; CNC machining experience required (lathe or mill acceptable)&middot; Ability to read blueprints and use common measuring tools&middot; Knowledge of G and M codes&middot; Ability to perform minor edits to programs&middot; Experience using PartMaker a plusEDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent manufacturing experience will be consideredEXPERIENCE: Swiss machining experience preferred but not requiredWORK ENVIRONMENT:&middot; This is a full-time position with benefits including health care, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k) with match&middot; Work location is in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio&middot; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally&middot; All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of our pre-employment drug screening and background check, consistent with applicable laws&middot; Profile Grinding, Inc. is a family-owned business established in 1945.
