About the Role: NHP have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Business Development Representative based in Perth.Reporting to the Sales Manager - WA, you will have full flexibility and ownership in increasing NHP's market share throughout the Metro region. With a deep understanding of your customers, you will develop the best and most effective sales proposals in the market, tapping into wider resources within the business.Predominantly working with Switchboard Builders in the Electrical sector, who also deal with Electrical contractors, end users, OEM's & control panel builders.Technical training & support provided! At the cornerstone of NHP's success, technical training and business support tools are high upon the agenda for personal & professional growth. With a variety of expertly developed programs that are both internal and externally produced they position NHP as a market leader in the field of staff training. About BG&E BG&E is an employee-owned company established in 1970 from a Perth based consulting practice. BG&E now has highly skilled teams operating in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Middle East, that design and deliver engineering solutions for clients in the Property, Transport, Ports and Marine, Water, Defence, Renewables and Resources sectors. The role The role of Business Development Lead WA will play an essential part in developing and implementing plans and tactics to develop new business and to shape the team in order to deliver on BG&E's strategy. <ul> <li>Assist in the growth of new disciplines within established markets</li> <li>Contribute to the BG&E strategy of establishing core disciplines in emerging markets</li> <li>Maintain and develop existing and new client relationships</li> <li>Undertake market analysis and monitoring and targeting future project opportunities</li> <li>Supporting development of new / emerging discipline and specialist teams including assisting with team development and recruitment of key individuals.</li> <li>Assist with the development and implementation of business plans.</li> <li>Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers, sub-consultants, and design partners.</li> <li>Guide bids and bid teams (working alongside discipline leads)</li> <li>Support and work alongside discipline leads as well as project teams.</li> <li>Liaise and co-ordinate with Business Development Leads in others Regions.</li> </ul> About You <ul> <li>Extensive experience in business development and relationship management</li> <li>Excellent networking and client management skills</li> <li>Credibility and established relationships within the transport and building sectors</li> <li>Sound understanding of engineering consulting and professional services industries</li> <li>Strategic thinking with the ability to plan, resource and organise effectively</li> <li>Technical engineering background would be desirable but not essential</li> <li>Good commercial acumen and project management skills</li> </ul> Please be assured that all applications and communication is always kept completely confidential.
