Job Title: General AccountantLocation: Kuwait City Department: Finance / Accounting Reports To: Finance Manager / CFOJob Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the organization&rsquo;s financial health and compliance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain and update general ledger accounts.</li><li>Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.</li><li>Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.</li><li>Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.</li><li>Assist with audits and provide required documentation.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Tally).</li><li>Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.</li><li>Health and insurance benefits.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
