SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTIONThe OPERATIONS &amp; PROCUREMENT MANAGER role reports directly to the CEO. It is an in-person position. Remote work is not allowed.*Ensure timely submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reporting as required.POSITION OVERVIEW: The Construction Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing internal operations, systems, procurement, technology systems and performance across construction activities to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability. This role focuses on optimizing workflows, managing procurement processes, supporting teams, and driving operational excellence across all projects.The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented leader with strong technology and construction knowledge, procurement experience, and the ability to improve systems while supporting organizational growth and client satisfaction.This is a core leadership team position in our company and one of which is expected to foster a culture of accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOverall Operations Management &amp; Performance<ul><li>Oversee company-wide construction operations from a systems and performance perspective</li><li>Identify, capture, and monitor operations &amp; project performance metrics (e.g. cost trends, schedule alignment, and quality outcomes)</li><li>Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements</li><li>Ensure alignment between estimating, procurement, scheduling, and execution processes</li><li>Support project managers, field leaders, and administrative staff where necessary to ensure consistency &amp; quality of project delivery is achieved across the team.</li><li>Serve a representative for the company General Contractor / CEO as needed and/or assigned.</li></ul>Construction Procurement &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Optimize and manage procurement processes for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors</li><li>Solicit bids, evaluate proposals, and support vendor selection processes</li><li>Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and value</li><li>Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support project schedules</li><li>Standardize procurement procedures and documentation across the organization</li><li>Track material costs, availability, and lead times to support accurate forecasting</li><li>Collaborate with estimating and finance teams to align budgets with procurement strategies</li><li>Monitor vendor performance, quality, and reliability</li></ul>Financial &amp; Operational Management<ul><li>Monitor budgets, job costing trends, and company-wide financial performance</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and operational improvements</li><li>Review contracts, scopes of work, and change order processes for consistency</li><li>Support forecasting, resource planning, and financial reporting</li></ul>Process Improvement &amp; Systems<ul><li>Develop, improve as needed and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for all operations</li><li>Improve workflows for all operations to include but not limited to client management, scheduling, purchasing, communication, and documentation</li><li>Oversee and optimize use of all company technology systems</li><li>Ensure consistent reporting, documentation, and data accuracy across teams</li></ul>Client &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Support client relationship strategies and ensure consistent communication standards</li><li>Assist in resolving escalated client or stakeholder concerns</li><li>Maintain strong partnerships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners</li><li>Promote a high standard of professionalism and customer experience</li></ul>Client Experience &amp; Reviews Management<ul><li>Develop and oversee systems for collecting client feedback and online reviews</li><li>Monitor and manage company presence on review platforms such as</li><li>Google Reviews andYelp</li><li>Ensure timely, professional responses to client reviews (both positive and negative)</li><li>Identify trends in client feedback and implement operational improvements</li><li>Collaborate with leadership to strengthen customer experience and brand reputation</li><li>Establish review generation processes at key project milestones (e.g., completion, warranty follow-up)</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure company-wide compliance with safety standards and regulations</li><li>Reinforce adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements through policies and systems</li><li>Support safety training initiatives and compliance tracking</li></ul>EXPERIENCERequired<ul><li>5&ndash;10+ years of experience in construction operations, procurement, or other related management</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor sourcing, and procurement processes</li><li>Proven leadership experience managing construction operations</li><li>Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and cost control</li><li>Proven skills in Microsoft business applications(Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel) &amp; other construction technology systems setup &amp; management</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related field</li><li>Experience managing customer experience, client communications, or review platforms</li><li>Experience implementing procurement systems or vendor programs</li><li>OSHA certification (10-hour or 30-hour)</li><li>Experience scaling operations or supply chain optimization</li></ul>Key Skills &amp;
