Position: Supervising AttorneyOverview: Seeking an experienced Supervising Attorney to lead a legal team serving financial institutions (mortgage lenders, servicers, banks, investors). The role combines legal expertise with operational leadership to ensure compliance and manage foreclosure and related litigation.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and supervise attorneys, managers, and paralegals.</li><li>Ensure compliance with FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and investor requirements.</li><li>Oversee foreclosure and civil litigation, case strategy, and risk management.</li><li>Manage departmental P&amp;L, policies, and performance goals.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams (Bankruptcy, Litigation, Title, REO, HR, Accounting, IT).</li><li>Attend mediations, hearings, and trials.</li><li>Support business development, marketing, and client engagement.</li><li>Represent the department through presentations, articles, and trade associations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>JD from accredited law school; licensed in Alabama (GA/TN preferred).</li><li>8+ years of litigation experience (foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, evictions, REO).</li><li>Proven leadership and P&amp;L management experience.</li><li>Expertise in mortgage litigation and compliance.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $230,000.00 per yearWork Location: Remote
