Job Overview Providence Golf Club is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. We are located in Davenport, Florida so please make sure that you live within 30 minutes of the Club. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, serving guests in the restaurant and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.</li><li>Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately.</li><li>Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring timely service during events.</li><li>Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.</li><li>Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle peak service periods effectively.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in the food industry or as a bartender is preferred but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is beneficial.</li><li>Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor toward customers.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual responsibilities.</li><li>Must possess strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.</li><li>Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws.</li></ul>Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and delicious beverages!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 per hourWork Location: In person
