Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen &amp; Bath Designer to join our team, dedicated to transforming spaces into stunning, functional masterpieces. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your passion for design and sales will thrive, helping clients realize their dream spaces while advancing your career in high-end sales and interior design.Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen and bath remodels.</li><li>Use layout design tools such as Chief Architect to create detailed elevations, floor plans, material/finish selections, and 3D renderings that showcase proposed designs.</li><li>Provide expert advice on lighting design, materials, fixtures, and finishes to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.</li><li>Conduct product demos and explain features of cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and other remodeling components.</li><li>Engage in outside sales efforts by building relationships with new clients and managing account portfolios through inside sales techniques.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, terms, and project timelines with clients while upselling premium products and services to maximize sales opportunities.</li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless remodeling processes from start to finish.</li><li>Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client questions promptly and providing ongoing support during maintenance or remodeling phases.</li><li>Contribute to showroom presentation and marketing efforts as needed.</li><li>Travel to job-sites for design meetings and initial and final measuring.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>5+ years of professional kitchen design experience, with a proven track record of designing and selling high-end/custom kitchen projects.</li><li>Strong portfolio of completed custom kitchen designs (please include samples with application).</li><li>Strong proficiency with Chief Architect software and other layout design tools for creating detailed visual plans and high quality 3D renderings.</li><li>Deep knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, hardware, countertops, and current design trends.</li><li>High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, consistent drawings.</li><li>Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell premium products confidently.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills for engaging customers clearly and professionally across various channels.</li><li>Experience in working with various custom cabinetry brands.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation (some local travel for client meetings/showroom visits)</li><li>Preferred: NKBA certification</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li></ul>Work Location: In person
