We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team, dedicated to transforming spaces into stunning, functional masterpieces. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen and bath remodels.
- Use layout design tools such as Chief Architect to create detailed elevations, floor plans, material/finish selections, and 3D renderings that showcase proposed designs.
- Provide expert advice on lighting design, materials, fixtures, and finishes to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
- Conduct product demos and explain features of cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and other remodeling components.
- Engage in outside sales efforts by building relationships with new clients and managing account portfolios through inside sales techniques.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project timelines with clients while upselling premium products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless remodeling processes from start to finish.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client questions promptly and providing ongoing support during maintenance or remodeling phases.
- Contribute to showroom presentation and marketing efforts as needed.
- Travel to job-sites for design meetings and initial and final measuring.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of professional kitchen design experience, with a proven track record of designing and selling high-end/custom kitchen projects.
- Strong portfolio of completed custom kitchen designs (please include samples with application).
- Strong proficiency with Chief Architect software and other layout design tools for creating detailed visual plans and high quality 3D renderings.
- Deep knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, hardware, countertops, and current design trends.
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, consistent drawings.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell premium products confidently.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging customers clearly and professionally across various channels.
- Experience in working with various custom cabinetry brands.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (some local travel for client meetings/showroom visits)
- Preferred: NKBA certification

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
