This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively environment dedicated to guest satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression</li><li>Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverage options, and promote specials when appropriate</li><li>Take accurate orders from guests, relay them promptly to the kitchen, and ensure timely service</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation</li><li>Handle guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and assistance as needed</li><li>Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences from seating to serving and checkout</li><li>Support servers during busy periods by delivering food and beverages when necessary, demonstrating teamwork in a fast-paced setting</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members</li><li>Knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not mandatory</li><li>Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills are key for success in this role</li></ul>Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
