Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their appointments, and assist with check-in procedures using electronic health record (EHR) systems</li><li>Schedule patient appointments efficiently, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage clinic calendars to optimize provider availability.</li><li>Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks to ensure accurate billing and claims processing.</li><li>Collect and document patient information accurately, review medical histories, and update electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations.</li><li>Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, handle appointment rescheduling, answer inquiries about services, and provide excellent patient service via phone etiquette.</li><li>Maintain organized medical records, file documents securely, and ensure all documentation complies with health information management standards.</li><li>Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as intake procedures, preparing care plans documentation, and managing medical office management software</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with pulmonary or specialty clinics is a plus.</li><li>Experience working with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is essential for efficient workflow management.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle insurance verification processes confidently using various billing software platforms.</li><li>Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy for data entry tasks.</li><li>Bilingual abilities are essential to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette to create a welcoming environment for patients.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and security of all protected health information (PHI).
