This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and develop meaningful relationships with animals and pet owners.Duties<ul><li>Walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring they receive proper exercise and mental stimulation</li><li>Provide pet sitting services including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining routines</li><li>Handle animals with care using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and handlers</li><li>Perform pet grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and basic hygiene maintenance when needed</li><li>Assist with training activities, including basic dog training commands to promote good behavior</li><li>Monitor pets&rsquo; health and behavior, alerting owners or veterinary professionals if concerns arise</li><li>Maintain detailed records of pet care activities and communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets&rsquo; needs</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in dog handling and pet sitting with a strong understanding of animal behavior</li><li>Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant experience is highly desirable</li><li>Skilled in animal restraint techniques and pet grooming practices</li><li>Ability to handle animals safely during walks or while providing care, including heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting larger dogs or supplies)</li><li>Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns professionally</li><li>Familiarity with animal handling across different species such as dogs, cats, or equines is a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills to report on pet health and behavior accurately</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re ready to make a positive impact on pets&rsquo; lives while enjoying an active, rewarding career that celebrates your love for animals!Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
