 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Checks sample product and raw materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzing the results of the tests to achieve the targeted process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carries out wet and dry film thickness checks, as well as density, viscosity, drying time and all other chemical specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare the report for inspection and test data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs adhesion and penetration testing, visual checks after blasting, and evaluates impact testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Tests various physical properties of paint and coatings, such as durability against abrasion, or adhesiveness of the material, color of the materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Test the actual application of the tested material and benchmark the market products.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisted in developing policies and procedures to keep the company ISO certified.
 </li>
 <li>
 Observe and verify special inspection and material testing perform by third parties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate the methods and processes of production and suggest further improvements in their functioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performing the inspections, measurements and tests according to the designed sampling plan and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicates and enforces laboratory safety rules to internal and external researchers working in the lab.
 </li>
 <li>
 Test, inspect sample materials or products for defects and any deviations from specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow the internal laboratory procedure and sops with regards their scope of work
 </li>
 <li>
 Takes Health, Safety &amp; Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring &ldquo;safe systems of work&rdquo; and &ldquo;safe conditions&rdquo; are in place within area of responsibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by senior management.
 </li>

 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
 
 
 
 
 
 Bachelor of Sciences (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry or a related science is required.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 
 
 Five+ years of laboratory experience.
 
 
 Experience with the proper operation of laboratory instrumentation, troubleshooting and test methods.
 
 
 Some Method development and validation experience is a requirement for this position.
 
 
 Familiarity with product development cycle is a plus.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills and Competencies:
 
 
 
 Effective interpersonal, self-motivation skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel are required.
 
 
 Ability to work under pressure.
 
 
 Problem Solving and Critical Thinking skills.
 
 
 Excellent time management skills will allow to meet deadlines.
 
 
 Strong organizational skills will be needed to keep track of your data, and carefully document all processes and results.
