Overview Design, oversee construction, inspection and operation of onshore/offshore pipeline systems ensuring integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design pipeline routes, materials, wall thickness, coatings, cathodic protection and pigging systems; prepare engineering calculations and specifications.</li><li>Produce and review P&amp;IDs, stress analysis, hydraulic calculations, bending and span assessments, and pipeline class/location studies.</li><li>Develop construction scopes, method statements, welding procedures, QA/QC plans and inspection/test plans.</li><li>Oversee procurement of pipes, fittings, valves, and pipeline ancillaries; evaluate vendor data and material traceability.</li><li>Support construction supervision, welding inspection, NDT, coating application, hydrostatic testing, tie-ins and commissioning activities.</li><li>Perform pipeline integrity management: corrosion assessment, inline inspection (ILI) planning, anomaly assessment and repair strategies.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID), RAM analyses and ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards (ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8, DNV).</li><li>Coordinate with civil, mechanical, subsea and offshore teams for crossings, trenching, burial, and installation logistics.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, progress updates, cost estimates and as-built documentation; support permitting and stakeholder approvals.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and liaise with contractors, third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum or Pipeline Engineering.</li><li>4+ years pipeline design/construction/inspection experience; GCC/Middle East experience preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in pipeline design and analysis tools (e.g., Caesar II, AutoPIPE, PipeSim, PIPEPHASE) and CAD/BIM software.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pipeline codes and standards (ASME, DNV, API) and welding/NDT practices.</li><li>Familiarity with corrosion control, cathodic protection, trenching, HDD and offshore installation methods.</li><li>Good report writing, project coordination and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Professional registration (PE, CEng) or relevant certifications.</li><li>Experience with subsea pipelines, risers and flexible flowlines.</li><li>Knowledge of integrity tools (smart pigs), fracture mechanics and fitness-for-service assessments.</li><li>HSE certifications and experience working under Qatari regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Arabic language skills or prior experience in Doha.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits (example)<ul><li>Competitive Doha-market salary, health insurance, annual leave and end-of-service benefits.</li><li>Training, certification support and relocation assistance where applicable.</li></ul>نوع الوظيفة: دائمالراتب المدفوع: QAR٤٥٫٠٠&nbsp;لكل ساعةموقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
