We need someone who can produce stunning video content at speed , someone equally comfortable in a traditional editing suite and with the latest AI video tools.About the RoleWe&rsquo;re looking for a Senior Video Editor and Motion Graphics Creator who can do it all , edit raw footage into polished final cuts, create animated explainer videos from scratch, design motion-rich infographics, and produce social media video content at a pace that keeps up with a fast-moving startup.Speed and quality are equally important. You should be the kind of editor who can turn around a clean, professional 60-second product demo in hours, not days. You&rsquo;ll work across a wide range of formats: short-form social content, long-form explainers, animated infographics, product walkthroughs, testimonial edits, and presentation videos.This role requires mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro , these are your primary tools, and expert-level proficiency is non-negotiable. You should also be actively using AI video and design tools to accelerate your output, experiment with new formats, and push creative boundaries. We want someone who sees AI as a multiplier for their existing skills, not a replacement for craft.Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing &amp; Production:<ul><li>Edit and produce professional video content across all formats: product demos, explainer videos, testimonials, social media clips, webinar recordings, and promotional videos</li><li>Deliver fast turnarounds on high-priority video projects without sacrificing quality</li><li>Edit talking-head and interview-style videos with professional pacing, cuts, transitions, and audio mixing</li><li>Add professional captions, subtitles, lower thirds, and on-screen text elements</li><li>Color grade and color correct footage for a consistent, polished look across all content</li><li>Edit and optimize video for multiple platforms and aspect ratios (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, website)</li></ul>Animation &amp; Motion Graphics:<ul><li>Create animated explainer videos that simplify complex concepts and product features for a broad audience</li><li>Design and animate infographic videos that present data, statistics, and workflows in a visually compelling way</li><li>Produce motion graphics for intros, outros, transitions, logo animations, and branded elements</li><li>Create animated social media content (carousels, short loops, GIFs, animated quotes)</li><li>Build and maintain a library of reusable motion templates, lower thirds, transitions, and branded elements</li><li>Design kinetic typography and text animations for emphasis and storytelling</li></ul>AI-Enhanced Workflows:<ul><li>Use AI video tools (Runway, Pika, HeyGen, Synthesia, CapCut AI, Descript, etc.) to accelerate production and explore new creative formats</li><li>Leverage AI for auto-captioning, background removal, voice enhancement, and footage upscaling</li><li>Experiment with AI-generated visuals, B-roll, and motion elements to enhance video content</li><li>Stay current with emerging AI video and animation tools and recommend new approaches to the team</li><li>Know when AI tools add value and when manual craft produces a better result , use professional judgment</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Brand:<ul><li>Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to translate briefs into compelling visual stories</li><li>Maintain visual brand consistency across all video and animation output</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously with clear communication on timelines and deliverables</li><li>Organize and maintain a structured media asset library (footage, graphics, templates, project files)</li></ul>RequirementsMust-Have:<ul><li>5+ years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience with a strong portfolio</li><li>Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects , this is non-negotiable</li><li>Strong working proficiency in Final Cut Pro</li><li>Strong motion graphics and animation skills: you can create polished explainer videos and animated infographics from concept to final render</li><li>Proven ability to work fast , you can deliver a clean, professional edit on tight deadlines without quality loss</li><li>Experience with the full post-production pipeline: editing, color grading, audio mixing, sound design, and final output</li><li>Strong typography and graphic design sense , your text layouts, lower thirds, and on-screen graphics look professional</li><li>Proficiency with both traditional tools AND AI video/editing tools , you must demonstrate skill with both</li><li>Good English communication skills , you&rsquo;ll receive briefs in English and collaborate with an English-speaking team</li><li>Ability to work full-time from our Sheraton, Egypt office</li></ul>Nice-to-Have:<ul><li>Proficiency in Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D animation tools</li><li>Experience with Lottie animations for web and app use</li><li>Illustration skills for custom animated characters or scenes</li><li>Experience with DaVinci Resolve for advanced color grading</li><li>Sound design and audio production skills beyond basic mixing</li><li>Photography and videography skills (shooting, not just editing)</li><li>Experience with screen recording and product UI animation</li><li>Experience producing SaaS product demo videos or software walkthroughs</li></ul>Hiring AssessmentCandidates will be evaluated through the following practical exercises:<ul><li>Speed Edit: Take a provided 3-minute raw screen recording of a software product and edit it into a polished 60-second demo video with captions, transitions, and a simple intro/outro. Time limit: 3 hours.</li><li>Animation Test: Create a 30-second animated infographic video explaining a simple concept (e.g., &ldquo;3 Ways AI Saves You Time&rdquo;). Must include text animation, data visualization, and smooth transitions.
