Summary: Quest Engineering, Inc., an architectural casework manufacturer, is currently seeking an individual for a Class A Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for assigned deliveries and pick-up of merchandise, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving responsibilities when needed.Department: LogisticsReports to: Fleet ManagerResponsibilities may include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner.</li><li>Maintains company vehicles, and performing preventative maintenance as need</li><li>Picks up merchandise and invoices from warehouse/vendors.</li><li>Delivers merchandise to customers in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.</li><li>Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.</li><li>Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.</li><li>Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.</li><li>Returns credit merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery.</li><li>Operate a forklift safely when needed (with proper certification).</li><li>Maintain an orderly work area by systemically cleaning and conducting preventative maintenance throughout shift.</li><li>Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves.</li><li>Reports overstock occurrences to management immediately.</li><li>Fills delivery orders by obtaining the required merchandise and completing appropriate paperwork.</li><li>Provides customer with receipt and/or credit form for merchandise to be picked up.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li><li>Load and unload company vehicle as required.</li><li>Perform other tasks/jobs assigned by the supervisor or manager.</li></ul>Specifications/Requirements:<ul><li>2+ years in a CDL Driving role</li><li>Familiarity with using navigation and logging systems.</li><li>Outstanding organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.</li><li>Reliable and prompt.</li><li>Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo as needed.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li></ul>Education/Experience:<ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent.</li></ul>Certifications/Licenses:<ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License - Must meet insurance underwriting requirements</li><li>Must have their CDL A</li><li>Valid Medical Card</li></ul>Quest Engineering, Inc. promotes a flexible, fast paced, and proactive work environment.
