Summary: Quest Engineering, Inc., an architectural casework manufacturer, is currently seeking an individual for a Class A Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for assigned deliveries and pick-up of merchandise, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving responsibilities when needed.

Reports to: Fleet Manager
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner.
- Maintains company vehicles, and performing preventative maintenance as need
- Picks up merchandise and invoices from warehouse/vendors.
- Delivers merchandise to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
- Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
- Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.
- Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.
- Returns credit merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery.
- Operate a forklift safely when needed (with proper certification).
- Maintain an orderly work area by systemically cleaning and conducting preventative maintenance throughout shift.
- Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves.
- Reports overstock occurrences to management immediately.
- Fills delivery orders by obtaining the required merchandise and completing appropriate paperwork.
- Provides customer with receipt and/or credit form for merchandise to be picked up.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Load and unload company vehicle as required.
- Perform other tasks/jobs assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Specifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years in a CDL Driving role
- Familiarity with using navigation and logging systems.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
- Reliable and prompt.
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo as needed.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s License - Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
- Must have their CDL A
- Valid Medical Card
