CNC Turner We are working with a global leader who have been established for 50 years and specialise in design, manufacture and supply for industrial applications. We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join the team in Bedford. Key skills required: <ul> <li> Previous experience with CNC Turning minimum 3 years </li> <li> Experience of setting and operating - minimum 3 years </li> <li> Ability to read technical drawings - minimum 3 years </li> <li> Experience of SFM Longbed Lathe is required </li> <li> Some experience of Fanuc controls is required </li> <li> Ability to work efficiently to deadlines </li> <li> Good attention to detail </li> <li> Flexible and hardworking </li> </ul> The successful CNC Turner will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary, free onsite parking and company benefits to be confirmed. Shift patterns are 6am to 2.30pm Mon Thurs and 6am to 10.30am Friday. All shop floor contracts have a clause in which says the client may also need to run a second shift which would be 2.30pm 11pm Mon Thurs and 10.30am 15.00pm Fri so they need to be able to work this shift too if required. Production Leader We are working with a well-developed company who have a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology. In addition to traditional standalone machining centres, they have 6 sliding head CNC lathes that allow complete production of finished components from raw bar material. We are recruiting for an experienced Production Leader to join them in their facility in Rotherham. Key skilled required of the Production Leader: <ul> <li>Must have at least 12 months experience in a supervisory role</li> <li>The Production Leader must have experience with CNC Turner and CNC Milling</li> <li>Experience as a Setter Operator will be required</li> <li>Ability to write programs from drawings - at a high level of competence</li> <li>Some experience of managing small teams</li> <li>Ability to run and meet schedules, keep the shift moving, employees motivated etc.</li> <li>Experience of medium to high volume engineering background</li> <li>Experience of cutting variety of materials - from basic carbon plate, Nicol, duplex etc</li> </ul> The successful Production Leader will be very hands on and will be managing a team of 6 employees. This is full time permanent position and working the late afternoon shift only. In return my client are offering excellent hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance, free on site park and other benefits to be confirmed. Shift: 14.30pm-23:00 Mon - Thursday, 13:00-20:30 Friday Overtime is paid at 1.5 x total rate (on both basic + bonus).
