If you&rsquo;re passionate about dentistry, eager to grow your skills, and thrive on making a difference in patients&rsquo; lives, this opportunity is perfect for you!Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures.</li><li>Assist dentists during various treatments including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix ensuring all medical documentation is complete and compliant.</li><li>Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, suctioning, and monitoring vital signs to ensure patient safety throughout procedures.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote ongoing dental wellness.</li><li>Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures to uphold the highest safety standards.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.</li><li>Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a dental clinic setting.</li><li>Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while following safety guidelines.</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with children is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent communication skills as a Dental Receptionist or in patient-facing roles are a plus.</li><li>Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; additional certifications in medical coding or pediatrics are advantageous.
