Join our team of dedicated library staff. We seek a Full Time Technology Coordinator. The candidate will take a leading role in the Innovation Lab. Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and update of all aspects of existing and emerging technologies. The candidate must be a team player and work well with the Quogue Library Administration and develop solutions for growing technology services and challenges confronting the Library.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Manage Innovation Lab operations and effective positive relationships with staffMaintain the Library&rsquo;s computer network including the installation, maintenance, and minor repair of computers.Manage tech staff, assigning duties.Assist patrons and staff with computer applicationsAssist staff with hardware updates/problems/maintenanceHost publicly attended education programs weeklySet up and take down AV equipment, screens, laptops, digital cameras, Wi-Fi, digital projectors and scanners for all programmingWork with SCLS on pertinent technology matters as well as attend tech meetingsMust be able to communicate affectively verbally and in writingCreate and present educational tech workshops for patrons on using current and emerging technologiesWork in Innovation Lab 2 days a week/ 3 days off deskAssist staff with statistics compilation, collect data from Google, Library Market and Traf-Sys for statisticsMonthly statistic reporting requiredMaintain tech inventory and technology budgetMaintain and operate Digital Keycard SystemMaintain Security Camera SystemMaintain and operate the VOLP Telephone SystemManage software licenses and renew as neededMaintain and operate electronic lighting equipmentAssist with photocopier maintenance and reconcile incomeRespond to inquiries from publicRegister for Quiet Rooms and tech appointmentsYearly generator maintenance requiredImplement Tech Policy and ProceduresAssist with program set up and take down when neededMaintain all tech equipment throughout buildingEmergency awareness Preparedness - policy updates and yearly staff reviewResponsible for yearly NYS Sexual Harassment requirementsOther duties as assignedEducation:Degree or equivalent experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology preferredHours &amp; Compensation:35 hours a week, (flexible weekend hours required) $51,000 - $56,000 annually based on library experience/Hourly Rate 90% NYSHIP Medical Coverage/Dental/Vanguard 403(b) employer contribution/Longevity Bonus/generous PTO.
