Job SummaryThe Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical materials, equipment, and services required for projects and operations Internationally . The role involves supplier management, technical evaluation of quotations, negotiation, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review technical specifications, and material requisitions.</li><li>Source international suppliers for electrical, automation, and industrial products.</li><li>Obtain and evaluate quotations based on technical compliance, price, quality, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions with suppliers.</li><li>Issue purchase orders and monitor order execution until final delivery.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and project teams to understand procurement requirements.</li><li>Manage import-related activities and coordinate with freight forwarders</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and identify new suppliers.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>2&ndash;3 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in the electrical, switchgear, automation, or industrial sector.</li><li>Experience in local and international sourcing.</li><li>Knowledge of import and export procedures is preferred.</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Salary Expectation </li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Technical Procurement: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Islamabad (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
