This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement.Duties<ul><li>Operate CNC milling machines, including CNC lathes and milling centers, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.</li><li>Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise parts.</li><li>Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and verify programs for accuracy before production runs.</li><li>Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and make necessary adjustments for quality control.</li><li>Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency while adhering to safety protocols.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar controls.</li><li>Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&amp;T standards for precise machining.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setups, fixture design, and machining processes involving plastics injection molding or metal components.</li><li>Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges effectively.</li><li>Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances accurately.</li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures including proper use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and welding equipment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team committed to quality excellence.
