The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing high-quality canopies used in commercial kitchens, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of food safety regulations and mechanical principles, with an emphasis on precision and craftsmanship.Responsibilities<ul><li>Fabricate and assemble kitchen canopies according to technical drawings and specifications</li><li>Measure materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure proper fitting and dimensions</li><li>Use mechanical knowledge to operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently</li><li>Conduct quality checks on completed canopies, ensuring they meet safety and aesthetic standards</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations</li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely</li><li>Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship</li><li>Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Previous experience in metalwork or fabrication</li><li>Tig welding experience required</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Company pension</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul>Work Location: In person
