Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Kitchen Canopy to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing high-quality canopies used in commercial kitchens, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the creation of essential kitchen infrastructure. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of food safety regulations and mechanical principles, with an emphasis on precision and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble kitchen canopies according to technical drawings and specifications
• Measure materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure proper fitting and dimensions
• Use mechanical knowledge to operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct quality checks on completed canopies, ensuring they meet safety and aesthetic standards
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely
• Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in metalwork or fabrication
• Tig welding experience required
