Fabricator/MIG Welder

We’re a busy and growing steel fabrication company specialising in high-quality, precision work for a range of industries. We’re looking for experienced Fabricators/MIG Welders to join our team and help us keep production running smoothly. If you take pride in producing quality work, enjoy working with your hands, and have experience fabricating metal components using MIG techniques, we’d like to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and other data to be used in the preparation of the product to be manufactured, carrying out dimensional inspection prior to welding.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures.
• Communicate potential risk to quality and efficiency to your team leader.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Follow safety guidelines, carry out safety checks and maintain a clean work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
• Confident in your ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of mechanical principles.
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with TIG welding is advantageous.
