Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily focusing on MIG welding relevant to automotive and agricultural operations. Responsibilities

• Execute MIG welding and other welding processes on various materials, mainly mild steel.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Read technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise weld and assembly.
• Assist with the fabrication, cutting, and shaping of metal parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure correct dimensions during assembly and welding.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG welding.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and weld equipment.
• Solid knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Be prompt and have high attendance.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to weld tasks.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks safely and efficiently.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with welding in industrial or workshop settings is preferred but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.98-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
