Worst &amp; Company Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team in Coeur d&rsquo;Alene. Since 1953, we&rsquo;ve built a reputation for quality, service, and long-term relationships&mdash;and we&rsquo;re looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working with numbers, and can stay focused in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents</li><li>Ensure vendors are paid on time and resolve any payment discrepancies</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries</li><li>Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems</li><li>Work with Purchasing department to ensure proper approvals and account coding</li><li>Assist with Accounts Receivable duties as needed</li><li>Answer a multi-line phone system</li><li>Provide general administrative and clerical support to multiple departments</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous Accounts Payable or general accounting experience preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and remain focused in a fast-paced office</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Experience using Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive)</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Self-motivated with a strong work ethic</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$20.00 &ndash; $22.00 per hour, depending on experience</li><li>2 weeks paid vacation</li><li>4&ndash;9 paid holidays per year</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>SIMPLE IRA with 3% company match</li><li>Continuing education support</li></ul>Job Details<ul><li>Full-time position (Monday&ndash;Friday)</li><li>Some overtime may be required during summer months</li></ul>R.C.
