Overview We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely in residential and commercial settings.Duties<ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating systems.</li><li>Assemble and plumb components of heating systems using hand tools and power tools.</li><li>Perform welding tasks as necessary for system repairs or modifications.</li><li>Carry out heavy lifting tasks when moving equipment or materials.</li><li>Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete installations effectively.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven mechanical knowledge related to heating systems.</li><li>Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.</li><li>Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations.</li><li>Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.</li><li>Previous experience in plumbing or related fields is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.</li></ul>If you are passionate about heating engineering and meet the above requirements, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Job Type: Full-timePay: &pound;31,000.00-&pound;60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Company events</li><li>Company pension</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul>Licence/Certification:<ul><li>CSCS (preferred)</li><li>Driving Licence (required)</li><li>City &amp; Guilds (preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
