This is not a remote position, candidate must be able to pass a drug and background check.Duties<ul><li>Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and other manufacturing machinery.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.</li><li>Repair or replace faulty components, ie. hydraulic systems, or electrical parts with precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history for accurate record-keeping.</li><li>Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by quickly diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.</li><li>Conduct analysis of machinery performance data to identify potential failures before they occur, ensuring continuous operation.</li><li>Ensures proper setup of the packaging line before and during a job run including but not limited to batch coders.</li><li>Follows all procedures set forth in the setup process.</li><li>Assists with changeovers between production runs.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and schematics interpretation.</li><li>Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols related to high-voltage systems and industrial electrician practices.</li><li>Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Electrical: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
