Overview

Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Repair or replace faulty components, ie. hydraulic systems, or electrical parts with precision measuring instruments.
- Document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history for accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by quickly diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct analysis of machinery performance data to identify potential failures before they occur, ensuring continuous operation.
- Ensures proper setup of the packaging line before and during a job run including but not limited to batch coders.
- Follows all procedures set forth in the setup process.
- Assists with changeovers between production runs.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated equipment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to high-voltage systems and industrial electrician practices.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
