Ranger Services, Inc is looking for a self-disciplined, personable, professional Lawn Care Technician to join our team.Lawn Care Technician responsibilities include:&middot; Diagnosis and treatment of various turf related diseases and conditions&middot; Fertilization&middot; Weed control&middot; Surveying landscapes and making recommendations based on best practices for plant needs&middot; Accurate record keeping and documentation/paperwork&middot; Sales and customer service / account managementNOTE: This position does NOT include mowing responsibilitiesApplicant needs (or has the ability to obtain) a 3.0 pesticide certification for the state of WisconsinGeneral requirements:- A solid foundation of turf and turf related conditions (identification, diagnostic evaluation, and care/maintenance techniques) is required- Knowledge of plants/trees (identification, diagnostic evaluation, and planting/care/maintenance techniques) is preferred- A 2-year or 4-year degree in a related field and/or at least 2 years of experience&middot; Ability to establish good communication and resolve customer concerns&middot; Ability to work confidently as part of a team or independently&middot; Good time-management skills&middot; Ability to be flexible with changes in job scheduling&middot; Ability to work in varying weather conditions&middot; Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly&middot; Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a good driving record&middot; Wisconsin state pesticide applicator 3.0 certification (preferred)Benefits:&middot; Full time, year-round positions&middot; Uniforms and tools provided&middot; Cross training opportunities&middot; Educational seminars, workshops, and other professional growth opportunities&middot; Paid vacation&middot; 401k, life insuranceJob Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Lawn Care: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Pesticide Applicator&rsquo;s 3.0 Certification (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
