This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while contributing to a fun and fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.</li><li>Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.</li><li>Manage POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.</li><li>Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to ensure safety.</li><li>Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to coordinate service during large events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.</li><li>Ability to adapt to hours necessary for team needs. Schedule made month in advance.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in bartending is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.</li><li>Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage diverse guests.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required.</li><li>Experience working in the food industry with an understanding of beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or mixing cocktails is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
