Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Manage POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to ensure safety.
• Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service during large events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
• Ability to adapt to hours necessary for team needs. Schedule made month in advance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required.
• Experience working in the food industry with an understanding of beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or mixing cocktails is advantageous.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
