The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of insurance claims, payment collections, and revenue cycle management at reTHINK Therapy. This role is critical to the financial health of the practice and directly supports the clinical team's ability to focus on client care. The Revenue Cycle Specialist communicates directly with clients regarding billing updates and works closely with the Office Manager to ensure clean, efficient billing operations.This is a hybrid full-time non-exempt position classified as &quot;Administrative Staff&quot; at reTHINK Therapy. This position operates on a 9/80 compressed work schedule &mdash; 80 hours over 9 days within a two-week pay period &mdash; with every other Friday off. And an excellent therapist is supported by a team.Values:<ul><li>Accountability</li><li>Adaptability</li><li>Authenticity</li></ul>Salary: $50,000 AnnuallyReports to: Office ManagerBenefits: All benefits start the first full month after 60 days of employment.<ul><li>Health, Dental and Vision Insurance</li><li>Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) of .0769 hours per hour worked</li><li>10 Holidays Off (See Employee Manual)</li><li>Simple IRA Retirement, with up to 3% employer match</li><li>Short-Term Disability Coverage provides income support during qualifying medical leave</li></ul>_____________________________________________________________________________________Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Review and process clean EDI claims using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications for accurate and precise billing</li><li>Process and upload paper and digital EOB/EOPs weekly</li><li>Manage medical collections by following up on unpaid claims, resolving denials, and appealing rejected claims to maximize reimbursement</li><li>Initiate and manage client collections, including payment arrangements and copay follow-up</li><li>Communicate insurance trends, denials, and errors to the Office Manager</li><li>Investigate and resolve claim rejections and denials (light insurance investigation)</li><li>Submit and track Prior Authorization Requests (PARs)</li><li>Submit and manage records requests and client documentation</li><li>Check insurance benefits for new and established clients</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing questions and updates</li><li>Communicate billing changes, balances, and payment plans directly with clients in a clear and professional manner</li><li>Provide exceptional service that reflects reTHINK Therapy's mission and values</li><li>Handle and diffuse client billing concerns professionally and with empathy</li><li>Coordinate and maintain office equipment and supplies</li><li>Stay highly organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Prioritize various projects independently</li><li>Be a problem solver and think ahead to ensure any challenges don't greatly impact progress or outcomes for clients</li><li>Own the day to day management of Asana or any designated task management system, ensuring tasks are properly created, assigned, tracked, and followed through to completion.</li><li>Work collaboratively with administrative team members</li><li>Provide straightforward feedback to administrative team members when needed</li><li>Able to receive direct and constructive feedback and make appropriate adjustments</li><li>Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by reTHINK Therapy</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work</li></ul>_____________________________________________________________________________________Key Performance Indicators (KPI)<ul><li>Response Time &amp;
