Real Life Christian Academy (RLCA) is a Christ-centered learning community committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2025&ndash;2026 school year.

Position Summary
The 1st Grade Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. This teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction while modeling Christian values and fostering a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with RLCA curriculum standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Create a safe, structured, and joyful classroom environment rooted in Biblical principles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of young learners.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Foster strong relationships with students and families through clear communication and support.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborate with fellow staff members to promote a positive, team-oriented culture.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Integrate faith into daily instruction, modeling Christ-like behavior and attitudes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.</li></ul>

Qualifications
<ul><li>A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a mature and growing faith.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university (required).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Valid teaching certificate (preferred).</li></ul>
<ul><li>CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Passion for teaching and nurturing young children.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong classroom management and communication skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Willingness to embrace and promote the mission and core values of RLCA.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lifestyle that reflects the values and expectations of the church and academy.</li></ul>
