Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our inpatient primary substance abuse treatment team in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Addiction Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist with experience working in behavioral health and substance use treatment settings.This position plays a vital role in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey by providing individual counseling, group therapy, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documentation in a collaborative inpatient environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide individual and group counseling services for clients in an inpatient substance abuse treatment setting</li><li>Conduct intake evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, and clinical screenings</li><li>Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans</li><li>Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner</li><li>Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups focused on recovery and relapse prevention</li><li>Collaborate with medical, nursing, and clinical teams to coordinate patient care</li><li>Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards</li><li>Support clients through crisis intervention and emotional stabilization when needed</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Certified Addiction Counselor, LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist in Puerto Rico</li><li>Master&rsquo;s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field</li><li>Experience working in substance abuse and/or behavioral health treatment preferred</li><li>Strong group facilitation and individual counseling skills</li><li>Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and recovery principles</li><li>Ability to complete accurate and timely clinical documentation</li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Adctn Counselor, LCSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
