Job OverviewAssist AR with invoicing, receiving payments and customer communicationResponsibilities<ul><li>Process and record customer payments accurately using various accounting software including QuickBooks, HouseCallPro</li><li>Manage accounts receivable ledger by tracking outstanding invoices, following up on overdue accounts, and performing collections account management.</li><li>Reconcile customer accounts through detailed account analysis and ensure all transactions align with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).</li><li>Prepare journal entries related to receivables, revenue recognition, and making adjustments</li><li>Collaborate with clients via phone, email or text to resolve billing discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and enhance customer service experience.</li><li>Assist in month-end closing processes by performing account reconciliation and preparing reports Quickbooks and HouseCallPro</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of accounting concepts including debits &amp; credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and revenue cycle management.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, HouseCallPro and billing software; experience with construction billing a plus</li><li>Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret Excel spreadsheets, formulas, and data for accurate account analysis.</li><li>Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette for client interaction and negotiation.</li><li>Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and manage collections accounts efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.</li></ul>This role is ideal for candidates passionate about finance operations who thrive on problem-solving, accuracy, and delivering exceptional client service.
