We're looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused <b>Payroll Coordinator</b> who thrives on accuracy, organization, and helping others. What You'll Do</b></h2><p>
As our Payroll Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll compliance and continuous process improvement.</p><p>
Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule</li><li>
Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, wage changes, and tax information</li><li>
Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations</li><li>
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee questions</li><li>
Process final paychecks and vacation payouts in accordance with California law</li><li>
Review monthly employee benefit invoices for accuracy</li><li>
Assist with payroll audits and year-end reporting</li><li>
Update payroll procedures and communicate payroll deadlines</li><li>
Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations</li><li>
Cross-train with finance functions and assist with special projects</li><li>
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What We're Looking For</b></h2><p>
We're seeking someone who is:</p><ul><li>
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented</li><li>
Comfortable working with numbers and deadlines</li><li>
A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills</li><li>
Able to manage confidential information with discretion</li><li>
Collaborative and willing to jump in wherever needed</li><li>
Passionate about accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>
6&ndash;12 months of payroll or related administrative experience (more experience welcomed)</li><li>
Experience with payroll software (Paycom experience is a plus)</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>
Understanding of payroll laws, tax reporting, and employee recordkeeping</li><li>
Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Additional Requirements</b></h2><ul><li>
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record</li><li>
Ability to successfully complete DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, CACI clearance, TB screening, physical, and other pre-employment requirements</li><li>
CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain if required)</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
