Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records, preparing detailed reports, and supporting strategic decision-making through precise bookkeeping and accounting practices. This position is perfect for a motivated professional eager to contribute to a thriving organization with diverse accounting needs.Duties<ul><li>Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments</li><li>Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial data</li><li>Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy</li><li>Prepare and review financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)</li><li>Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate employee compensation records</li><li>Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools to streamline operations</li><li>Support budgeting processes by analyzing expenses and assisting in financial planning efforts</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements</li><li>Assist with governmental accounting procedures and tax preparation activities as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role within corporate or non-profit organizations</li><li>Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other relevant platforms</li><li>In-depth knowledge of GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping principles</li><li>Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and general ledger management</li><li>Familiarity with governmental accounting practices and tax regulations is preferred</li><li>Excellent understanding of financial concepts such as debits &amp; credits, account reconciliation, and financial report writing</li><li>Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts simultaneously</li><li>Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external auditors</li></ul>Join us in a role that empowers you to leverage your accounting expertise while making a meaningful impact.
