To support our aggressive expansion and the launch of our own dedicated Transport Division (Container &amp; Trailer Fleet), we are looking for a seasoned Transport Manager who can set up, manage, and scale this new vertical from day one.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Build and lead the entire surface transport vertical (owned + attached fleet of 20ft/40ft containers, trailers, open-body trucks &amp; LCVs)</li><li>Plan and execute daily routing &amp; scheduling for local, upcountry, and factory-to-port movements across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Delhi-NCR, South India</li><li>Recruit, train, and manage drivers, cleaners, and transport supervisors</li><li>Negotiate and maintain long-term contracts with transporters, trailer owners, and attachment vendors</li><li>Ensure 100% on-time pick-up and delivery of export/import containers to/from Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Hazira, ICDs, and CFSs (Maharashtra to Gujarat)</li><li>Track and control transport costs &ndash; diesel, toll, RTO, maintenance, driver data, loading/unloading charges</li><li>Implement GPS tracking, FASTag management, and real-time shipment visibility for customers</li><li>Handle container tracking, demurrage/detention monitoring, and coordination with shipping lines &amp; terminals</li><li>Manage E-way bill, transport permits, border check-post compliance, and RTO documentation</li><li>Resolve day-to-day operational issues (breakdowns, accidents, police cases, driver disputes)</li><li>Achieve monthly targets on volume, revenue, and profitability of the transport division</li><li>Prepare MIS reports: cost per trip, per KM, per ton, profit per job, vehicle utilization, etc.</li><li>Track all containers and keep its maintenance record.</li></ul>Required Experience &amp; Skills<ul><li>3-5 years of hands-on experience in surface transport management (container/trailer/FTL operations)</li><li>Prior experience in a CHA, freight forwarding, liner agency, or large transport company is highly preferred</li><li>Proven track record of managing a fleet of 20+ vehicles and a team of 30+ drivers/supervisors</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Maharashtra, Gujarat, North &amp; South India routes, tolls, borders, and check-posts</li><li>Strong negotiation skills with transporters and vendors</li><li>Familiarity with GPS systems (preferably experience with platforms like MapMyIndia, Transight, AllCargo, etc.)</li><li>Good command over English &amp; Hindi (Marathi/Gujarati is a plus) for driver &amp; vendor communication</li><li>Ability to handle pressure, night calls, and emergency situations calmly and professionally</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, WhatsApp coordination, and basic transport software</li><li>Valid LMV/HMV driving license is an advantage</li></ul>Why Join Reliable Global Exim?<ul><li>Opportunity to build and head a brand-new Transport Division from scratch</li><li>Full ownership &amp; direct reporting to Directors</li><li>High-visibility role with fast-track growth (future GM &ndash; Transport possible)</li><li>Performance-linked incentives + fuel allowance + mobile reimbursement</li><li>Salary &amp; perks are genuinely open &ndash; we will match or beat your current package for the right leader</li></ul>Note: Only candidates with actual transport management experience in container/trailer/logistics industry will be considered.
