Data Entry&middot; Enter new patients into our system accurately and promptly.&middot; Create and update billing cases, ensuring all required information is complete.&middot; Maintain organized and error-free records.Review and process medical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and data security2. Accounts Receivable Support&middot; Assist with reviewing and following up on outstanding balances.&middot; Work with the billing team to reconcile payments, denials, and adjustments.&middot; Communicate as needed to help resolve A/R issues.3. Medical Record Requests&middot; Process medical record requests from attorneys, insurance companies, and other authorized parties.&middot; Ensure proper documentation and compliance with privacy regulations.&middot; Track requests and send records in a timely, secure manner.4. Treatment Authorization Assistance &middot; Help gather documentation and information required for treatment authorizations when needed.&middot; Coordinate with clinicians, billing staff, or insurers when support is needed.&middot; Monitor the status of authorizations and communicate updates to the team.5. Front Desk Cross-Training&middot; Learn core front desk duties so you can help with coverage when needed.&middot; Assist with patient check-in/check-out, phones, scheduling, and general office tasks.Experience<ul><li>Prior clinic experience in a healthcare administrative role within a physical therapy or outpatient setting is highly preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical coding including CPT codes and ICD coding (ICD-9/10), along with familiarity with Medicare policies and care plan documentation</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation review, and office operations management</li></ul>This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care while developing your expertise in healthcare administration.
