Senior PowerBuilder &amp; .NET Developer (10+ Years Experience)Location: UAE Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 10 YearsJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder &amp; .NET Developer to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level business applications. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who has worked extensively with legacy PowerBuilder systems and modern .NET technologies, and who can confidently handle system enhancements, migrations, and long-term application stability.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain, support, and enhance PowerBuilder applications used in daily business operations.</li><li>Develop and support applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs).</li><li>Analyze existing systems and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.</li><li>Work closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Perform database design, optimization, and complex query development using SQL Server / Oracle.</li><li>Participate in system upgrades, modernization, and partial or full migration from PowerBuilder to .NET.</li><li>Ensure application security, stability, and compliance with internal standards.</li><li>Prepare technical documentation and provide ongoing application support.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>10+ years of hands-on experience in software development.</li><li>Strong expertise in PowerBuilder (DataWindows, PFC, application frameworks).</li><li>Solid experience with .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web APIs.</li><li>Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.</li><li>Experience in maintaining large-scale or legacy enterprise applications.</li><li>Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).</li><li>Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end application ownership.</li></ul>Preferred Skills (Good to Have)<ul><li>Experience in migrating legacy applications to modern platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of REST services, integrations, and reporting tools.</li><li>Familiarity with version control tools and CI/CD processes.</li><li>Experience working in government, banking, or enterprise environments.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe&rsquo;re looking for a reliable, hands-on developer who understands both legacy systems and modern development, can solve problems independently, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.Salary RangeAED 15,000 &ndash; 25,000 per month (depending on experience and skill set).Job Type: Full-timePay: AED12,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
