Job Summary
This position focuses on technical support for R&amp;D, product development, process development, and transfer to manufacturing projects.
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Work closely with R&amp;D team to design and develop innovative products</li><li>
Develop and refine both R&amp;D and production level manufacturing work instructions</li><li>
Assist in design and construction of developmental components, sub-assemblies and prototype devices</li><li>
Record observations of both assembly processes and assembly (or component) performance</li><li>
Assist in development of test methods, through test method design, construction and execution</li><li>
Perform product testing, record data and perform simple analysis</li><li>
Communicate to teammates about progress and learnings both verbally and in writing, when necessary</li><li>
Train and support operators on new manufacturing projects</li><li>
Drive timelines and assist in product manufacturing when necessary</li><li>
Gather inspection data on new products to refine customer specs</li><li>
Evaluate manufacturing transfer projects and provide line support to ensure a smooth transition</li><li>
Work with project team to build quality product and deliver on time</li></ul>
Requirements:

Education, Experience, Required Skills<ul><li>
Experience and/or training in using a microscope in assembly, working with different types of class III implantable devices, working with active medical devices requiring laser welding/soldering.</li><li>
Knowledge of common medical device materials of construction and manufacturing processes</li><li>
3-5+ years of experience required, with at least 2 years of experience working with catheters or delivery systems.</li><li>
Strong technical ability with focus on quality</li><li>
Ability to work well with teams</li><li>
Motivated with a strong attention to detail</li><li>
Strong written and oral Communication skills</li><li>
Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information</li><li>
Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment</li><li>
Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner</li><li>
Able to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress</li><li>
Support company finance, accounting, human resources, quality, regulatory, and clinical departments as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or microscope</li><li>
Prolonged periods of standing</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times</li><li>
Possess the manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed</li><li>
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination</li><li>
Must wear gown, gloves, ear protection and personal protective equipment when applicable</li></ul>

Compensation<ul><li>
The typical base pay range for this role is between $30.00-38.00/hour. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.</li><li>
401(k) Plan: Company-provided Safe Harbor Contribution of 3% of eligible earnings.</li></ul></div>
