Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Director of Projects &amp; OperationsPosition Purpose:To lead and manage all operational and project activities of the company, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable execution of maintenance and construction contracts while supporting business growth and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management<ul><li>Oversee all maintenance and construction projects across the organization.</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.</li><li>Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and procedures.</li><li>Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions when required.</li></ul>2. Project Management<ul><li>Lead and mentor Project Managers and site teams.</li><li>Review project execution plans, resource allocation, and project schedules.</li><li>Monitor project KPIs related to cost, schedule, quality, productivity, and safety.</li><li>Identify and mitigate project risks and operational challenges.</li></ul>3. Contract &amp; Client Management<ul><li>Act as the primary operational interface with key clients.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with contract requirements and obligations.</li><li>Support contract negotiations, variation orders, claims, and commercial discussions.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.</li></ul>4. Health, Safety, Environment &amp; Quality (HSEQ)<ul><li>Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and client requirements.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.</li><li>Monitor HSEQ performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul>5. Financial Management<ul><li>Manage operational budgets and project financial performance.</li><li>Drive profitability through effective cost control and resource optimization.</li><li>Monitor project cash flow, invoicing, and collection processes.</li><li>Support financial forecasting and business planning activities.</li></ul>6. Business Development Support<ul><li>Contribute to tender preparation, bid reviews, and project planning.</li><li>Evaluate new business opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.</li><li>Support the company&rsquo;s growth objectives and market expansion plans.</li></ul>7. Human Resources &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Identify workforce requirements and support recruitment planning.</li><li>Develop leadership capabilities and high-performing teams.</li><li>Conduct performance reviews and succession planning for key personnel.</li><li>Support workforce localization and talent development initiatives.</li></ul>Authority &amp; Decision-Making<ul><li>Approve project execution strategies and operational plans.</li><li>Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources across projects.</li><li>Recommend key appointments, promotions, and organizational changes.</li><li>Review and recommend major subcontracting and procurement decisions within delegated authority limits.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience in Maintenance &amp; Construction within the Oil &amp; Gas industry.</li><li>Minimum 10 years in senior project management and operations leadership roles.</li><li>PMP certification preferred; MBA is an advantage.</li><li>Strong experience with PDO, OQ, BP Oman, Oxy Oman, or major EPC and maintenance contractors.</li><li>Proven track record in managing large-scale maintenance and construction contracts.</li><li>Strong leadership, commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul>:::This role will be responsible for delivering operational excellence, maximizing profitability, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the strategic growth of the companySend your CVs on :resourcepartners.info@gmail.comApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of experience do you have in Oil and Gas Industry?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Project management/Leasdership role in Oil &amp;Gas Industry: 10 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
